Day One

One of my best friends thinks I'm crazy.  I know I've given her many other reasons to think so, this is not one of them.  My name is Sylvia and I'm a scrap-a-holic...."Hi, Sylvia." 

I have what I refer to as my "Skrap Palace"(the "k" makes me feel funky) located in the bedroom of one of my grown children.  It's still painted with the colors she painfully selected during her highschool years.  Her purple curtains she "HAD" to have still hang in the windows.  I can see through the adjoining bathroom into her sisters (also grown and gone) bright yellow room from my newly positioned folding table.  It makes me happy.  It makes me feel connected to them even when they are not around.

This is where I cut my paper.  This is where I glue, emboss, stamp, Cricut, ink, stickle, and do all those things that make me love this sport.  This is where I will now endeavor to blog.  I have spent many weekends and evenings watching many of you on YouTube, following your doing's on your blogs, absorbing your creativity you so freely share.  It's made me feel like I can be apart of your world.  So here I am. I'm putting my creations out there and I'm going to see what happens.
